The fourth semifinal of Chef of the Year Mexico, held in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, 16 and 17 February in Único, Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara.
The winner was Gerardo Sandoval Fernández, chef of the restaurant Café des Artistes del Mar.
The past 16 and 17 February was held the fourth semifinal, Chef of the Year Mexico, 2009/2010 in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
Único, Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara hosted this successful contest, making these two days at the most important gastronomic forum of our country. The winner and fourth semifinalist will participate in the grand final in Chef of the Year Mexico, 2009/2010 is Gerardo Sandoval Fernández Chef of the restaurant Café des Artistes del Mar at Hotel des Artistes in Punta de Mita, Nayarit.

The winning menu consisted of a post White Tomato Soup, a dish consisting of cod Zarandeado strong and Créme brulee for dessert Soursop, besides these dishes made two appetizers: crab stuffed Tamalito Dorado lemon-scented smoke.
