Best Local Ambassador to the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa

 In order to celebrate soccer in the first-ever FIFA World Cup hosted on African soil, an invitation to submit a work interpreting the popular sport in the style of their choice was extended to artist around the world. In total, 160 original works were chosen from which 210 archival pigment ink prints on cotton paper will be produced and then numbered, certified, signed by the artist and sold-a total of 33,600 prints from 32 nations. Five artist were chosen from Mexico, including local artist Alejandro Mondria, who submited ¨Until Reality,¨ and oil collage.
