OCEAN CLEANING & A.W.A.R.E. KIDS PROJECT
Develop an organized society in harmony with the marine environment that promotes the care of their ecological patrimony and rationally exploit and manage natural resources, thereby achieving sustainable progress.
· Improve the quality of ecosystems and underwater environment around Punta de Mita.
· Safeguarding the marine environment and its natural wealth.
· Perform reef clean up to keep them free of marine debris.
· Help maintain the species in the area free of illegal nets and other fishing devices.
· Instilling a culture of environment conservation and respect for marine life in the community trough educational programs in the local schools.
· Involve the community in the programs regarding the underwater world in the area.
· Provide practical opportunities to participate in the solutions of problems.
Human activity is costing the earth. Despite the ocean’s vast expanse our actions are taking a toll on aquatic ecosystems.
